Equi Liver™ is an advanced, hypoallergenic complementary feed designed for horses whose livers are under increased strain – particularly during gastric ulcer treatment (omeprazole, sucralfate), antibiotic therapy, and the use of anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications.

Active ingredients in Equi Liver™ – how do they work?

• Milk thistle extract (silymarin) – the most important hepatoprotective ingredient. It protects liver cells from damage caused by medications, toxins, and oxidative stress. It accelerates hepatocyte regeneration and stabilizes cell membranes, which is crucial during omeprazole therapy, antibiotic treatment, and NSAID use.
• L-ornithine – an amino acid supporting the urea cycle, responsible for neutralizing ammonia and drug metabolites. It reduces the liver’s detoxification load, supports regeneration, and improves metabolic performance during intensive exercise and pharmacotherapy.
• Turmeric – a source of curcumin with strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties; supports detoxification and protection against oxidative stress.
• Dandelion – supports digestion, toxin elimination, and natural liver function.
• Nettle – has diuretic and cleansing effects, supporting detoxification processes.
• Choline – essential for proper lipid metabolism and regeneration of hepatocytes burdened by medications.
• Sunflower lecithin – supports the reconstruction of liver cell membranes and is a source of phospholipids.

Use:

Regular use of Equi Liver™ supports the body’s detoxification processes, promotes regeneration of liver cells, and strengthens natural resistance to metabolic stress resulting from therapy or intensive physical effort. The hypoallergenic formula ensures safe use, even for sensitive horses.

Recommended dosage: 5 g per 100 kg of body weight per day, administered with feed.
