Equi Zinc+Copper™ – support for skin, coat, and joint health in horses
Equi Zinc+Copper™ is a specialist mineral product for horses, containing organic forms of zinc and copper in the ideal 3:1 ratio. The use of amino acid chelates ensures exceptionally high bioavailability and biological effectiveness. The preparation supports skin health, accelerates tissue regeneration, improves coat quality, and gives the coat a deep, natural shine.
Zinc and copper are essential elements for the proper functioning of the horse’s body. They are responsible for skin elasticity, keratin and collagen synthesis, proper hoof keratinization, and support the regeneration of joint cartilage. Deficiencies of these trace elements may lead to a dull coat, flaky skin, slowed hair growth, and weakened joint structures.
Thanks to optimal proportions and the use of amino acid chelates, Equi Zinc+Copper™ effectively replenishes deficiencies, supporting both the horse’s external appearance and its freedom of movement.

Zinc and copper are key trace elements essential for the synthesis of keratin, collagen, and antioxidant enzymes. Supplementation with organic forms of zinc and copper at doses of approximately 100–150 mg of zinc and 10–20 mg of copper per day in an adult horse supports proper hoof development and durability, skin condition, and the quality of the hair coat. Clinical effects, such as improved hoof horn structure and coat shine, are usually observed after 3–6 months of regular use, especially when an adequate level of protein and vitamin C is ensured in the diet.
