Why is Master Calm the ideal feed for nervous horses?
- Support of the body’s natural defence mechanisms: A high concentration of antioxidants, such as vitamins E and C, supports the horse’s natural defence systems by neutralising free radicals. In addition, rapeseed oil, rich in unsaturated fatty acids, helps improve overall immunity.
- Reduction of stress and excitement responses: High-quality energy sources in the form of plant fibre (wheat bran, dried alfalfa, and corn flakes) ensure a steady and calm release of energy. This allows the horse to maintain an appropriate energy level while minimising the risk of excessive excitability in stressful situations such as transport or competitions.
- Maintaining calmness: The combination of tryptophan, magnesium, and B-group vitamins helps reduce tension and increase calmness. Nutrients such as vitamin B9 (folic acid) and vitamin C support the calming of the nervous system, which is crucial for horses experiencing stress.
- Digestive support: Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and brewer’s yeast support healthy intestinal microflora, improving digestibility and nutrient absorption. Clay included in the formula protects the gastric mucosa, preventing irritation and supporting digestive tract health.
